Send2 (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Chrome extension designed to help users quickly send selected content from webpages to Google Docs for easier organization and sharing. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our extension.

A. User Authentication Info

  • When you sign in via Google, we collect your:

    • Google email address

    • User ID

  • This data is stored securely in Firebase Authentication and Firestore.

B. Usage Data

  • We store how many times you use Send2 features daily (e.g., text sends, screenshot sends).

  • This is used to enforce daily limits for free accounts and stored in Firestore.

C. Local Data

  • We use chrome.storage.sync to cache things like:

    • Your daily usage count

    • Your premium status

    • Your app settings (e.g., UI preferences)

D. Payment Info (Premium Users)

  • Payments are handled via Stripe. We do not store or process your payment info directly.

  • Stripe provides us with metadata like payment status and customer email, which we use to enable premium features.

📂 2. How We Use Your Information

We only use your data for the following purposes:

  • To provide core functionality (e.g., sending to Docs)

  • To manage premium subscriptions

  • To enforce fair usage limits

  • To personalize your experience within the extension

We do not:

  • Sell your data

  • Share your data with third-party advertisers

  • Read or store your Google Docs content

  • Your account data is securely stored in Firebase.

  • All communication with Google APIs and Stripe uses secure HTTPS encryption.

  • We follow best practices to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.

  • We don’t read your full browsing history.

  • We don’t access any content unless you manually select it and choose to send it.

  • We don’t modify, delete, or alter your Google Docs.

  • You can revoke Google access at any time via your Google Account Permissions.

  • You can uninstall the extension at any time to stop data collection.

  • You can email us to request deletion of your stored data (email below).
